As the first woman to represent Illinois’ 13th Congressional District, I’ve been a strong advocate for women’s reproductive rights to ensure that critical health care decisions stay between women and their medical professionals.

- I’ve cosponsored legislation to protect women who travel across state lines for reproductive health care, protect health care providers and patients from restrictions and bans, and reverse the Hyde Amendment to ensure women’s ability to access reproductive care no matter where they live.
