Springfield, IL – IL13 Republican Regan Deering advocates for tax breaks – for herself. Deering, who is worth up to $142 million dollars and inherited tens of millions of dollars from her family, has supported tax cuts passed by Donald Trump that would only benefit the ultra-wealthy 1%, like herself.
Economic inequality is already a big problem in the United States, with some estimates that “income for middle-class Americans is projected to grow at less than half the rate as for the richest 1%”, like Regan Deering.

“It’s not surprising that she supports tax cuts for her ultra-wealthy family. In Congress, I would support middle class tax cuts like the child tax credit that will help working families get ahead. We can’t afford people like Regan who will only advocate for their own bottom line.”
