Regan Deering is Supported by Republicans that Want to End Social Security and Medicare

“In Congress, I will always fight for and protect social security and Medicare that seniors have paid into and earned their entire lives.”

Springfield, IL – Last week, IL13 Republican candidate Regan Deering announced her support for making cuts to social security and Medicare programs. Throughout her campaign, Deering has accepted support from some of the most extreme politicians in the Republican party, and especially from politicians that want to end social security and Medicare. 

In her Q3 FEC report, Deering took $5,000 from Kevin McCarthy’s leadership PAC.

Nikki Budzinski made the following statement: “Regan has shown time and time again that she can’t be trusted on this issue. She is taking money in her campaign from the politicians on the front lines of ending social security and medicare.”
