Springfield, IL – Today, Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) announced his endorsement of Nikki Budzinski in Illinois’ 13th Congressional District. Currently in his 4th term in Congress, Rep. Schneider sits on the House Committee on Ways and Means, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Chairs the NewDem Action Fund – the largest caucus in the House of Representatives. Rep. Schneider is a national bipartisan leader on critical issues like improving access to healthcare, gun violence prevention, and protecting the environment.

Born in Peoria, Illinois, she’s the granddaughter of a union painter and public-school teachers. Nikki has over ten years’ experience in the labor movement, working for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union and International Association of Fire Fighters.
